1. Student Conduct & Discipline

Saraswati Academy is committed to maintaining a safe, disciplined, and respectful learning environment. The school reserves the right to take disciplinary action against any student found engaging in misconduct, including but not limited to:

• Disorderly, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour within or outside the school premises.
• Damage to school property, infrastructure, learning resources, or educational materials.
• Disturbing fellow students or interfering with the academic environment.
• Repeated violation of school rules and regulations.
• Habitual absenteeism or prolonged absence without prior approval.
• Non-compliance with school policies and disciplinary guidelines.

The school reserves the right to suspend, debar, or cancel the enrolment of any student whose conduct is found to be detrimental to the school environment.

2. Attendance & Participation

• Students are expected to attend classes regularly and maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Students should arrive at school at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the morning assembly.
• Attendance at school functions, examinations, and academic activities may be mandatory as notified by the school.
• Parents are encouraged to attend all Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and school interactions.

3. Uniform Policy

Students must attend school and all official school functions in complete and prescribed school uniform. Failure to comply with uniform regulations may attract disciplinary action.

4. Health & Safety

Students are advised not to attend school when suffering from illness or contagious health conditions. Parents should inform the school in case of prolonged illness or medical emergencies.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Bullying, harassment, or misconduct towards fellow students.
• Possession or consumption of tobacco, cigarettes, alcohol, narcotics, or any prohibited substances.
• Any activity that compromises the safety, dignity, or well-being of other students.

Serious violations may result in immediate disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of enrolment.

6. Academic & Administrative Changes

The school reserves the right to modify, update, or restructure its academic programmes, policies, curriculum, schedules, facilities, or administrative procedures whenever deemed necessary for the welfare and development of students.

7. Limitation of Liability

While the school strives to maintain a safe and secure environment, Saraswati Academy shall not be held responsible for personal actions, misconduct, or activities undertaken by students beyond reasonable supervision or outside school premises.

8. School Decisions

All decisions made by the school management regarding admissions, discipline, academic matters, student conduct, and administrative policies shall be final and binding.

9. Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from admission, school policies, or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Haldwani, District Nainital, Uttarakhand.
